Dean McCormick and Guy Baker formally invite you and a friend to join them for wine and cheese at an educational presentation by Apollo Lupescu, PhD, Vice President of Dimensional Fund Advisors. DFA is one of the largest mutual fund companies in the US, managing over $370 billion, as of June 2014, with investment practices centered around four Nobel Prize winning scientific and mathematical theories.
In the fall of 2013, Professor Eugene Fama received the Nobel Prize in economics for his achievements in the field of finance and investments. Professor Fama has served on the board of directors of DFA since the firm’s inception in 1981. Apollo will highlight his research and its practical applications to individual investors. He will focus on the fundamental choice between this evidence-based approach and the conventional approach to investing.
Come and learn about what dimensions of investing we have control over and how to plan for a comfortable future in 2015 and beyond. We know that Apollo’s presentation will be interesting and enlightening.
