Dear clients and friends:
You may have seen that the Nobel Prize in economics this year was recently awarded to three economists, including Dr. Eugene Fama at the University of Chicago. Dr. Fama mentored two teaching assistants there, David Booth and Rex Sinquefield, who went on to co-found Dimensional Fund Advisors. I have had the wonderful opportunity to attend several workshops with Gene (as he likes to be called) over the past few years, which has been a real treat.
Today DFA manages over $320 billion of assets and helps our clients reach their goals by investing in capitalism, rather than stock picking or market timing. Here is a link to a short video on Dr. Fama that I thought you would enjoy:
All the best!
